17 October 2022 - Hedge funds faced a tough September amid a market downturn which left major indices sharply lower over the month.
As equity and bond markets around the globe continue to fall, the overall weighted average return for hedge funds administered by the royaltrust group of companies (royaltrust) was -3.1%, worse than the -0.6% seen the previous month.
These are some of the findings from royaltrust's Monthly Hedge Fund Update, which explores performance, capital flows, trade volumes and treasury volumes during the month of September.
